Same issue. Very frustrating to keep finding the same map.  Started after the most recent nether update.  

I didn't have this issue until the most recent nether update now all maps I find are the exact same map. Traveled thousands of blocks from the chest, past other known buried treasure sites and I'm still getting the same map.

I haven't been purchasing from a cartographer. It's shipwreck maps that I have been finding.
