[Defined PBR - A Vanilla RTX Resource Pack 1.1.8] has no problem because of its definition on skin texture. However, other packs like [Vanilla-RTX-Normals-v1.7.2] and some older packs which have no definiton on skin texture can cause this problem.

I remember there was no problem about rendering frogspawn in version 1.18.12 (which was called tadpole egg then) with experiment features on.

This bug still exists in 1.18.10, and it seems to have affected not only horses, but also skeleton horses and donkeys.

Affects version 1.18.10 as well

Maybe some keyboard operations have changed your input method.

This is a confirmed bug, and mojang will try to fix it. But when they can't fix it, we'll have to to report this to NVIDIA

That is exactly some of what I have come across. You can solve this temporarily by pressing the key ';' twice, but only the outdoor view in a few chunks nearby would have correct ray effects. If you go a few chunks further, or go indoor(especially decorated with luminous blocks like sea lantern or redstone lamp), you can see the ray effect remain out of order.

GPU is a must for Minecraft. Without GPU's support you can't even launch Minecraft! Old ATI GPUs have been abandoned by mojang since 1.16.200. That's why my old computer crashed after having launched Minecraft for a few moments.

After a few weeks of playing, I can say that version 1.17.10 has quite a lot of performance problems, both with and without RTX. Minecraft shouldn't be a game with high hardware limits. We need to report those issues to mojang, and persuade mojang to optimise the game so as to adapt to more devices.

Desktop and laptop devices are facing this problem as well. Calculating a few chunks should be no problem for an RTX3060(Laptop), but the reality is that when view distance is set to more than 48 chunks, FPS is less than 45 and GPU usage is only 4%. Problems do not disappear even when RTX is on. That's absolutely not the real performance it could have displayed. It's weird that such a GPU should display such a bad performance. Maybe next time I'll play Minecraft using Intel HD Graphics.

Yep, I use RTX3060 Laptop GPU. At first I thought my GPU drives went wrong, but as more friends had the same situation I realize that it might be a bug.
