Thought they fixed it for a brief moment in the snapshots. But it's back again (in 28b for sure)

Just noticed this in in 14w26c.
Captured in a video, for those interested (way zoomed in, on a distant object, standing on a single slime block): http://cl.ly/WMXw/vid.mov

Restart launcher, this was just fixed.

Yep, 14w25a fails to start.

No crashes in 14w06b, but a strange block appears when placing torches by right clicking on a side of another torch (or a stair or another non-torchable block)

Lava (retextured glass blocks)

Can confirm, standing right under dripping water makes view appear underwater (blue tint and lower fov). Same for lava (intense red "fog").

Can confirm crash when right-clicking a torch with another torch. Report: http://pastebin.com/2520fng4

Seing these particle effects too in 14w05b.

I fixed this issue by updating bin/natives/openal.dylib library to latest stable version from http://lwjgl.org/download.php

I can confirm this bug is still in 1.4.6 release

I have this issue also.
Seems like every sound made in the game starts at zero volume and ramps up to full volume in 100-200 milliseconds. Basically like a fast fade-in. That softens very short and "clicky" sounds. Footsteps, block placing, and pick up "pop-pop" sounds are almost inaudible.
