24 hours later, now the issue is no longer occuring for me. I didn't do anything, so I suspect it's just a Mojang server issue or similar.
The problem fixed itself today. I still suspect it was an issue on Mojang/Microsoft's auth servers or something
@Jess Edward Thanks. I assume you mean the Mod Notice which talks about incompatible software. I have a firewall and Discord installed. However, Discord isn't running, and even without the firewall active I have the same issue. And my friend just uses Windows Firewall and has the same issue. Like I said, it's been working for around five years with my current setup - nothing's changed here. I ran the recommended Adware scanners and nothing was found.
Or did I misunderstand you?
EDIT: I should note that my current Internet provider blocks the ports 135, 139, 445 and 548 on TCP - and 135, 137 and 138 on UDP. Are these a problem? It hasn't been a problem for the last 8 months, but maybe something changed with MC?
The old launcher for Java edition works for me, but this happens for me in the Xbox console app thing for Windows. So perhaps you guys can try switching back to the old launcher.
This started occurring to me and my friend consistently since this morning (GMT+1) (Minecraft Realms). I've had virtually no issues for the last month or so. Restarting Minecraft hasn't helped. I'm hoping it's just a server issue and not something worse.
This was using the Windows 10 - MCL 2.3.324 non-store launcher, which flashes "Play offline" and Play. Like in MCL-22184
I can configure my realm and download backups - but I can't connect to them
If anyone other than myself find their way to this to see attack range, their range is below 3 but above 2.5 blocks. The only way I've found to safely hit them is if the player is 3 blocks up, and even then you could still be hit if several hoglins bump into each other and give each other a tiny lift.
Same. It might also be triggered by words in our language. I.e. "også" means "also" and this is a censored (profanity) word in Realms for some reason. We disabled the profanity filter to mitigate this but who knows what triggered the global censorship on our Realms server - I figure it could've easily been a false flag Danish word. I really wish there was a way to opt-out of censorship and take full responsibility as server owner or similar.
