The one on the left is the Minecraft launcher to install and play the game, (Recommend by default), The one on the right is the Xbox installation and playing the game

I'm having the same issue on Xbox one. Unable to join friends and realms. It tells me to sign into minecraft directly. Even though I'm signed into xbox

Yo my game doesn't allow me to connect my profile. I can play alone but can't join friends, servers, or buy coins. It'd be cool if this got fixed. Sincerely dankies

This seems to be a commonly reported issue. The GUI within the beta seems to lag in general.

I was able to replicate this issue within my game as well. I'm running beta build 4.

I have the same issue with Windows 10 beta. I guess we'll just have to wait to see if Microsoft somehow fixes it. But since Microsoft now owns Minecraft, they should have some minor support for the game.
