Unable to play online with anyone on better together update 1.2.1. The game says you need to sign in to Xbox live for free. Even though I'm already signed in on Xbox but not minecraft. It shows my skin and allows me to play but only by myself. This has been like this ever since it came out. Please fix, I do enjoy playing the game with friends and I'm curious about the servers. Thx

For me, only works correctly for the account that purchased the Xbox Live Gold membership. Other users cannot connect to realms, servers or purchase items in the game's shop. Sometimes the error messages says: I need to Login to XBL, please check internet connect, or unable to join.

My connection should be fine. I'm able to play the Xbox one version online just fine. I' still have this problem. Please fix this thx
I'm having issues in which my friends are unable to connect to my games and I am unable to connect to theirs. They are using an Xbox One S and I am using the original Xbox One.
However I can connect to my game via LAN through Windows 10 and my son can connect via XBox Live or LAN from another Xbox One.
Could the different Xbox versions be an issue?
Are you stating that this has to do with the ADVERTISED Gold sharing?
I myself have experienced this when my son's friend couldn't enter my world to see what I built and I utilize Gold sharing. My son and friend were able to join each other's world error free though (they both have active Gold). LAN connections work as expected. We have several Xbox One's and multiple Gold accounts so I thought why not save a few bucks on Gold SINCE IT IS ADVERTISED TO BE SHARED!
