It also happens in 1.14.4, I don't want to kill my villagers, this bug is very annoying

I have this problem too, but I cannot move, because I'm stucked in the boat when I get out of it, so I have to re-enter the game.
Ok so the launcher_log file shows nothing about yesterday but only today, so I tried to reproduce this bug but obviously it works perfectly today, so there's nothing more to say
