I can’t record video on my system 'cause the hardware is too old (so XBOX game bar claims), but I can send you another screenshot. The problem is different now, but still very similar. Instead of sending me to The Garden Awakens, it sends me to Chase the Skies… which is also not the upcoming game drop. Currently, the main page is using the Chase the Skies URL for both me and my friend. All of the most voted posts on the main page are for Chase the Skies instead of the handful of copper golem posts I should be seeing.

Part of the problem is that every time a new game drop comes out, the old one is renamed and keeps its number URL (the long string of bold things in my previous post). Then a dev makes a new instance of “Upcoming Game Drop Features” with a fresh URL, instead of moving the previous game drop to a new location… as far as I can tell. That’s a problem for people who want to save a link for the current update/drop (when the current game drop comes out, ex. Spring to Life, your saved link will take you there instead of Chase the Skies and whatever future drops might come out) and it means that the devs have to change every instance of the UGDF (Upcoming Game Drop Features) link across the website to the current game drop from the old URL.

As far as I can tell, this problem would be fixed if, instead of renaming the old UGDF location and making a new UGDF category every time a game drop comes out, you just move the posts from the old location to a new one. e.g., you have Spring to Life (which would currently be in UGDF) and Chase the Skies has just gone up for testing - create URL B (in this example naming it Spring to Life), move all the existing feedback for Spring to Life to URL B, and then make the “Let’s talk about X (the happy ghast)!” post in the UGDF URL. All you’d need to do would be to add a link to the Spring to Life URL under Categories. Nobody would have to update the main page again and this bug would (hopefully) go away. News articles and links on minecraft.net about new game drops could potentially point directly to the UGDF instead of just going to the main page of the feedback site.

Granted, I don’t know how much work would go into transferring the old feedback to a new URL instead of just renaming the old URL like how it’s currently done. Maybe that takes hours of computer processing or every post would need to be done manually, I dunno. But if it’s not either of those things, I think that would be a simple fix that would also save the devs time (since, again, you don’t have to update every instance of the link wherever it’s mentioned) and prevent this bug from ever happening again… unless there are multiple instances of the website that haven’t all been fixed, like I was thinking in the original post.

I’m accessing the site from the United States of America, and so is my friend… obviously, since we’re on the same network.

Yes, it’s still a problem for me, and I really thought I had already commented on this. As far as I can tell, it’s a problem in the URL - the link on the home page sends me to https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/topics/30730314464013-Upcoming-Game-Drop-Features when it should be sending me to https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/topics/33267006417549-Spring-to-Life instead. There are two things I can think of that could be causing this: alternate instances of the website which haven’t been fixed (semi-likely, since the Cloudflare human verification on the site flashed on my screen and then went away for some reason) or a problem with my OS (just using Windows 10 and I don’t know why Microsoft’s OS would cause problems on a Microsoft site). Both of those are truly bizarre, but they’re all I can think of. A friend of mine is also using Windows 10 and is on the same network and he also has this problem. I guess it could be a network thing (if you like the alternate website instance idea) but I feel like other people are having this problem too when you consider how few votes different ideas for the game drop had. The most voted for issue wasn’t even 300 votes, while they have thousands in other categories. Maybe try using it off a library computer and see if it has this problem?

Update: I thought this might be a problem with editing posts as well (I’ve made feedback posts, published them, and then edited for typos and they’ve been taken down) but an official Mojang commenter on one of the most voted for issues says that isn’t the case:

https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360011186611/comments/360001493931

I’ve made another post and it was taken down after I edited it, so that’s all I could think of.

Yes, both bugs have been fixed, so would someone please close these issues?

No, it still sends me to The Garden Awakens. This link:

The first three issues on the main page are also for The Garden Awakens for me, so at least it's consistent.. Updating the original post with an image...
I can use Chromium and Firefox and get the same result, so either it's not a browser issue or it IS and I'm supposed to be using Internet Explorer or something similar. It could be that or an OS problem as well (just running Windows 10 with old hardware) but the browsers are more likely.
A friend just did it on a different system and browser (Windows 10 and Edge) and the problem is consistent for him as well, so either it's something about Windows or the URL is just wrong. The numbers in the middle of the URL are different for me than they are for you, so that could be part of the problem - and the link I'm being sent to should be renamed something like https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/topics/30730314464013-The-Garden-Awakens instead.
