Wasn't aware there was a difference in door opening ability. Pretty sure it was Vindicators for me.

@Junu All of my villagers are unemployed, which is why they may only be wandering. (Trying to build a village from scratch).

@hair mine I locked everyone in their houses to keep them from dying. It still doesn't seem to be taking-- I'll break a block to peek and some of them will be just standing around, not sleeping.

I should have mentioned that this village started in 1.14.3-- could that be part of the issue?
