I have tried holding down those buttons for at least a minute but still no luck. I will keep trying and update if I get in to the game.
Edit: I was able to get it to work after restarting the PS4. Thank you very much for your hard work on getting this issue fixed.
T+13 days without playing Minecraft. This is extremely upsetting especially without an update on the issue. Yes, there is a fix for the issue, but it is only a temporary solution.
PlayStation Bedrock has definitely become buggier since the Nether Update.
If you have PS+ and don't see your world's after reinstalling, go to cloud saves and download all data for Minecraft.
You should able to delete the game and redownload it from the PlayStation Store, or you can just wait until a fix for the issue is available.
This seems like a very important issue that should have been fixed with the latest patch. It is getting extremely frustrating especially since it's a game breaking bug.
Hope the next update coming soon fixes the stuck on Mojang screen issue. It has been almost a week since I was able to last play Minecraft. I would like to jump into the game and be able to explore all the new features within the Nether Update.
I purchased the digital version of the game and upgraded from Editions.

Doesn't seem like it, I have tried restarting my console multiple times (no fix). I guess we will have to wait for a patch to play again.
It happens to me when opening the game from the PS4 home screen. I purchased the Editions version of the game from the PlayStation Store a few years ago.
I am having the issue too. Hope this gets fixed soon. I don't want to take any chances with deleting the game.
I am having serious lag and performance issues on my PS4 too. It takes my PS4 around 10 minutes to open Minecraft while on the iPhone it opens in 30 seconds. By the time I get to the main menu, the game freezes up a lot and doesn’t even load my skin. With servers, it sometimes just keeps me on the loading screen forever and if I try to press leave it just freezes and doesn’t do anything. As a result, I have to boot Minecraft back up again and hope to not get stuck on the Mojang Logo screen. This game has serious issues with performance and is practically unplayable until they are fixed. What is disappointing is that I bought the new Star Wars pack but I can’t play it. I am looking forward to the Caves & Cliffs update, I love mining, and I hope this issues are fully fixed by then.
