Falling blocks can be placed on non-full blocks if directly placed on top of them. If they fall on them it will break.

The community calls that shadow banning. Appears to be random for when it happens and if it gets appealed. Mojang won't do anything based on previous posts from other people. Wouldn't hurt to send a message to the help team though.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Type this command while standing above a cauldron: /replaceitem block ~ ~-1 ~ slot.container 1 bread 5 0

Observed Results (by post author):

The cauldron will receive 5 bread but will not drop it when broken. It can only be seen when pick blocking while holding the Ctrl button (the data will be shown when hovering over the item in the inventory). These slots are unused and cannot be seen in any way.

Expected Results:

The game should report an error message in the chat saying that the block doesn't have the specified slot.

*Affects 1.16.221, also command block users love this glitch because it allows for more customization. I would be sad and also many others would be too if this got patched. If it is reimplemented (assuming they fix it and decide to make it a feature) it wouldn't make sense to make it a spawn event like Mike Shultz suggested. However, this might be the only option as it doesn't seem like the devs intend on adding more /summon options (cough NBT cough).

Entities don't render 70 blocks away from the player due to simulation distance (or just some other radius variable). I'm quite sure that maps are considered entities in frames. If they are there is no reason to change it because that is how it works for all entities.

There are two other reports on this however they do not explain how to do this. They also have no response and are from months ago.

Strength and weakness seem to update the stat change based on your current weapon, due to it being a percent of damage. It does it because it shows how much damage it adds but they decided it to show the percent instead so it shows how much damage will be added after the percent.

Can confirm it still happens in 1.16.210. Not only that, but slimes have been immune to weakness and strength far before the original bug report. Plus anything can hold items but if a mob holds an enchanted sword it can't use it unless it has the ability to visibly hold it, but that doesn't make sense because literally every mob that can hold things can use a totem.

It seems to just not have a crossbow, because the last time I tested they would shoot even when I removed their crossbow.

They put on education edition toggle and used /ability.

This doesn't seem to be a bug. Appears on Java and all other mobs drain durability from tools and armor.
