If you do find a solution for this is, I'm still watching this. I don't want to play any other version than my 1.7.10. forge, liteloader, and everything included.
The launcher solved half the problem but I noticed other changes were within the game that won't allow me to open any modded game. I can only open vanilla.

At least you can get into your game though.

And I can understand you are volunteers hence the "if" before supervisor but it's not just a matter of broken launcher.
The whole thing. WHOLE thing opened up and all my profiles for my versions were lost. When I tried to get a bug report, I couldn't even get that, and then on the new launcher I was looking for the help desk or to report a bug and it wasn't an option. I had to HUNT for this site.

I just opened it to play my usual game.
I was almost in tears the headache of problems I have to jump through hoops to try to fix it. I don't even want to touch it.

This is frustrating on ALL levels and I've been having a rough enough week. The least Mojang could have done was allow an opt in button even if it was a beta launcher or not.

I don't understand, even as a bug forum why you guys are having us test it out. We can't even enjoy a game we paid for.

I'd be sitting on the forums all day. I get this isn't a help desk but users want to play the game not beta test. This isn't the way to get or keep customers.

Please relay that to your supervisor of you work for Mojang.
We bought the game to play it. Whether old or new and we're all concerned over the forced update launcher.
At least recognize we aren't open too sitting back and waiting.

We reported the bug. It's widely known and tweeted on your Twitter. At least revert our accounts back.
Not all of us want to update.
