I have had the same issue as well when I open Minecraft on windows 10 after the most recent update it will do the Mojang loading screen but when it boots up it'll just be the background panorama and flickers some times.

Yea my Bedrock Realm I still Notice the issue on the most recent release and It appeared on both Xbox and Windows 10.
I have had this same issue I have uninstalled reinstalled resized the window and went from full screen to windowed and absolutely nothing has made the buttons reappear.
