Maybe there should be a way to use the commands to specify where it should be when riding it. Say you could have it 5 blocks up from the middle or 3.4 blocks down etc

MC-145536

For some reason, you need to use CTRL+C and CTRL+V

Maybe this is intentional to orient yourself, based on what block it is

Oops, I searched for INS instead of Insert... Another duplicate

This is so strange why they won't have the standard way of doing it

True, but it's a bit weird the standard way of doing it isn't supported

I don't see why this is a problem

Edit: Well, the inconsistency about how you first go to the village it is weird I suppose

Yeah, this could be mistaken for something that was intended

Also, if you have for example a firework with a lot of stars in it, it can be too tall to all fit on screen

Still not fixed for 1.15?

Thanks! Apparently my searching skills weren't good enough. I thought it was strange how it wasn't reported yet

It would have made more sense realistically the other way. (But since Minecraft is just a few hundred metres tall, maybe not)

Another related bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGJucW4j7t4

I really hope this is fixed before 1.15 comes out, but it might be too late for that now

I tested this on 1.14.4,  and you can use this to go on top of the nether. This is a really nasty bug, since you can get stuck up there if you have no ways to kill yourself, and no ways to build a portal! If you're not on hard difficulty, you can't starve to death either.

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be able to get up there at all in survival mode, especially since it can ruin your game if you do.

Can confirm for 1.14.4 and under half slabs

How many is the intended amount? This could be working as intended perhaps?
