I sorta deleted it on accident. I just noticed it happened in survival on large biomes too.

There is a reason. The reason is the village popularity. when you kill villagers, or hit them, you lose popularity and when a village detects that you have a popularity below -15, all natural Iron Golems attack. visit http://minecraft.wiki.com and type in Iron Golem or
