MCPE-230429 After 1.21.120 update, it won't let Microsoft Child accounts log in, getting error Drowned Confirmed

Comments

With the last Microsoft Store Update (Minecraft + Gaming Services) the problem is solved. Login with Child Account works.

My problem mostly relates to the one Gyrka describes.
MCPE-120083 is mostly about Minecraft Switch and Password free Microsoft accounts. The solutions described there dont work.

Same behaviour for me.

Win 11 + Bedrock 1.12.120 and every xbox related app always wants to log in again.
Xbox, Minecraft Launcher and also Minecraft Bedrock without Launcher.
The Minecraft App loads but won’t log in. Even after entering the login credentials. Instead i get the error “drowned” ingame.

There are two ways around for me.
1. Way: I have to delete my user account in windows settings / accounts / email and accounts. I use local Win account so Win11 is not connected to the Microsoft account and i can simply remove it. Then start Minecraft. Close the login window without login. Then in Minecraft click on Login on the left. After inserting the credentials it is working. But only this time. Next time starting up the error as described above is back.

2. Way: Cut your internet connection and start Minecraft. Then start your Wifi again and after a while it will log in.

It is really strange. We tried several reinstalls of Minecraft + every related Xbox App or Service. It won't change at all. Even after we cleaned every trace and folder of Xbox and Minecraft + using Microsoft Gaming repair tool. Also all services are running in the right way.

We also tried using another account, because my account is a managed child account. Yes and the adult account was working perfectly. No login issues. Switching back to my account, error is back. Child account is completely open configured. Every setting is set like an adult account. No Multiplayer restrictions.
