Still freezing whenever I try to type in chat or on signs while playing on servers. Is this happening to anyone else?

Edit: I've discovered that archiving and re-downloading the software can solve the issue temporarily, however closing the game and restarting it can cause the problem to happen again. Otherwise, I was able to type in chat and play perfectly fine for a good couple of hours before I went to bed and woke up to see the issue again after turning on the game.

The same as all these other people, I have to login multiple times a day as well, also, I just recently noticed this, typing in chat or on signs in a regular world works fine, no freezing, but, if you try to use chat in any servers, the whole game still freezes momentarily at varying lengths. Thank you though for the most recent fix, because I can play it now but my membership on one of the servers is being wasted due to not being able to speak to others properly.

The update is out everyone, just did it, haven't tested

Edit: Closes without freezing the whole switch, servers work too, but still freezes when typing in chat or on signs but not nearly as long as before

Edit 2: It's random when it decides to freeze when typing in chat/on signs. Sometimes it freezes for like a minute, sometimes a couple seconds, sometimes not at all, but freezes will happen regardless

Edit 3: I probably should've said this before, but, even though I sound like I'm complaining, I'm grateful of the huge improvements in the issues that were happening and am able to play again.

I've now lost an entire week of a monthly VIP membership that i had just renewed on a server thanks to this. I apologize for commenting this here, but shouldn't this also be considered an issue for the people who solely rely on the switch to play?

I will add some of my experience that I've discovered as well. I mainly only play on public servers and, after the 1.16.20 update, my switch has done the same thing where it freezes if trying to close the game. However, it also freezes if I try to type in chat or write on signs, although it unfreezes if I wait. Also, I've become unable to see other people's messages in the public chat, but if I type in it, after waiting for it to unfreeze, I can see my message just fine, and this only started happening after the update, because it was working entirely fine just before. Please fix this issue because playing the game on switch has just become too much of a hassle to tolerate.

I saw reports of this issue on other websites dating back to 2019, so if it has really existed that long, that is highly disappointing that nothing has been done. But, yes, my copy is physical too. Do you think there could be a difference?
