I'm having this exact same issue. 1.12.x versions work, 1.13 and 1.14 the right stick is unresponsive.

This may be marked as Resolved, a fresh jar seems to have corrected the issue.

Survival Multiplayer, vanilla Minecraft. Out of 30 or so consumptions this happened every time.

I will reinstall a fresh 1.4.3 jar and update this if the bug is resolved.

Thank you for this. I've been having terrible crash issues and I live under a golem farm, this explains the crashing.

I can confirm this crash. Happens upon log-in frequently. Once connected, crash happens every 3 minutes or so. Crash report generated is almost identical to the one posted here.

Current Specs:
Windows 7 64 bit
GTX570 with latest drivers
Java 7 64 bit (or whatever the latest update is, 7.1 possibly?)
I have 4 gigs of RAM dedicated
No modifications of the jar, completely clean install.
