Hi [MOD] Kumasasa, if "resolved" please share the fix for the bug?

THIS IS NOT RESOLVED by any stretch of the imagination. If Majong, Microsoft, and its programmers WANT PEOPLE TO GO AWAY, this is working.

So either FIX it or add a checkbox on how to turn that ish off. Deleting those files doesn't work... stupid minecraft puts them back. 😞

Hi ty, that's great when people in charge or whatever choose to decide something irritating the heck out of their customers call something like this "supposed to happen".

So, while I was able to DEFEAT this annoyance in my own minecraft, I couldn't help my girlfriend make it stop. So? She said F MINECRAFT and went back to WoW. So? you can keep your holier than thou self in check and realize that SOME people use headphones or really good sound systems through which the chicken clicking is incredibly obnoxious.

Rather than be part of The Collective that doesn't care what the paying customers think, how about coming up with a way that people who WANT to play don't get pissed off at a little sound?

Personally, I would have totally aggreed with you ty, right up until I used headphones. EFF THAT. I wouldn't ever play again either...

Thanks for the positive contributions with solving this problem, be it intended to drive people away or not.

I actually kind of like this "undocumented feature" as I can safely use my more enchanted tools without worry of actually killing them. It took a lot of experience and two anvils to make my diamond pickaxe get efficiency IV unbreaking III. 😃

I checked the world in MCEdit looking to see if Villager entities were spawning in caves or other bad things. All looked normal there.

Did some testing and the uplink at the house wasn't up for serving minecraft. 😞 And we're on the 3rd tier of residential cable modem service, which is supposed to handle 1Mb uplink.

I confirmed by bringing the server to work, where we're on the 4th tier business class cable modem... Monitoring the network on the minecraft server via slurm shows max TX of 189 KB/s. The firewall graph showed occasional outbound traffic spikes approaching 5Mb/s, but it didn't say which host(s) here did that. So my work's throughput should be the fix for our small world.

It's probably the same as this issue: MC-3416 go there and read through the comments. Towards the end, someone has a fix for this and it worked for our people. It's a patch to apply to the clients' on users minecraft jar files.

Exactly this started happening on our 3 person server yesterday. It only happened to player #3 and since minecraft was playing well from my work, I thought it was internet connection between my home (where the server is) and his place.

Today at my work, I got lag as well as time resetting backwards: log in, wait a minute to load blocks, then move. Intermittently, I'd jump back to where I'd logged in. For my client, I read up about the settings and turned everything down or off. I even installed the latest Oracle Win 7 64 bit Java.

Server is plugged into the router & everything is gigabit... was able to chat ok with home via Google, etc, but I did notice trying ssh/scp copying from home to work was pretty miserable. Maybe the uplink at home sucks? Will keep troubleshooting.

Help me understand, this epic huge glitch has been open and unresolved for 2 years?

Seriously?

Thanks,
Chris
