In my case, when I spawned, if I can say “spawned” I was in a place with no coordinates, which is strange because I play with coordinates on screen. I did not see the obsidian platform, the main island... nothing at all. In fact I thought it was still loading/spawning. It’s tough to accept I lost all my good stuff because of a bug.
I had no idea I was falling until my life started going down. Too late to try to save myself with my elytra and rockets.
