Minecraft never failed me until the last Windows update 4 days ago. I deleted it, reset my PC, installed additional drivers to fix my Javascript and graphics, and reinstalled Minecraft. Nothing worked on my end. Tried the video tip above, and it's still stuck on the red flashing screen. Also, Minecraft would not reset on my PC for some reason. I'm on an Acer laptop with Intel graphics and all up-to-date drivers. I have the Windows 10 version 2004. 

I'm having the same issue. I deleted it and then reset my pc thinking it was on my end. I also had to download some repair files for my graphics and memory. I then reinstalled Minecraft to have the same problem with the red screen flashing. Hopefully, you can fix my version too. I'm on Windows 10 standard edition with all the current updates and drivers. I might mention this didn't start until the last update 4 days ago.

I'm on the Samsung J3 Emerge and am having the same issue. With all the other issues I'm having since the aquatic updates, I just overlooked this one. It is very annoying to go into my apartment building and find my double doors look backwards and all my wardrobe doors do too. My OCD is through the roof right now!

I'm having a similar issue with mine. I'm on my Samsung J3 Emerge (Android device). Since it is my old phone (it was last year's release), I have deleted everything off of it and only have Minecraft installed on it. There is no actual phone service, although it does connect through WIFI to my online account for all the updates. Ever since the new Aquatic release came out, my game has been off. When I try to fly, I move slower than I would if I walked. If I double tap to make it go faster, it goes even slower. If I get closer to the ground, I move like I am flying. Problem is that I sometimes need to be at a higher elevation to see what's around me when building. It takes me twice as long to do anything when in flight. Yesterday, I started to notice that the game is glitching and my character's movements and all movements in the game are constantly stopping and starting. Thought it was the disorganization in my world so I created a new one with nothing in it and I'm having the same issues. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to not be able to play my game and finish the city I started!
