It only says that they increased the trident's rarity previously and now they changed it to being "rare" in the 33a changelog. from 34-40a they did not mention anything about trident's rarity.

Few clarifications:

  1. The observer stays powered even after updating the block(i.e. placing any block next to it) OR relogging into the world

  2. The observer does not change the redstone output even if a block was placed/the block was updated on the "face" side

  3. Everything said in the comments and the post happens in BOTH the vanilla version of the game AND the redstone experimental features.

This occurs in both the vanilla version of the game and with the minecart improvement datapack.

Interesting thing to note: in the "General" tab of the statistics, the "Music Discs Played" statistic still increases, showing this is an error on the individual counts and the game does in fact count "times used" for music discs.

MC-276777, MC-276619, and  MC-276783 are all included in this issue, and MC-276783 describes the same issue as MC-276619, which shows to be "Invalid" since it is a "Feature Request", so maybe durability-related items or items with durability(damage) NBTs(described in MC-276478) are supposed to not yield an item after 'use_remainder' is toggled?

I believe that the powdered snow bucket with [!use_remainder] when used still yields a bucket is a separate bug since that's a mishap for forgetting these past items are "used". It also affects buckets of axolotl, cod, lava, milk, pufferfish, salmon, tadpole, tropical fish, and water.

Being a duplicate of MC-277137, which is labelled as "Works as Intended", this should be closed

This is just a difference between the 2 editions of Minecraft, and should not be considered as a bug.
