Is he using some sort of tool to manage the bedrock server? If so, most of them are updating the server to the last available version by themself.

1.19.xx is the default downloadable version for some time now (as advertised on the download page), while the clients got updated yesterday.

He is probably on 1.19 with the server and might be on 1.18 with the client.

Could you check that with him? The client version is seen on the minecraft main menu in the lower right corner.

Did you check if the console client's version is indeed 1.19.xxx? I tried to connect with an "up to date" XBox yesterday just to see that it was still on 1.18.xxx.

Only reinstalling the game was resolving the issue for me.

You need to launch the server directly from within the folder it was extracted to. Starting it from another location with absolute path parameter (e.g. /srv/minecraft as path while in home folder) threw the same error as you have.

IIRC this is normal behavior.

Did you or he try to play this world outside of a realm already? If yes, are the features functional there?

There is no setting in the server.properties. However, you can enable coordinates via the "gamerule showcoordinates true" command in the command line window or as OP ingame via the chat (just add the slash before gamerule).

I know that supporting ARM is not as easy as creating a new skin. Thing is, there is a huge userbase out there who would be happy to utilize their Raspberry Pies (or similar hardware) for this scenario.

On the other side, Bedrock runs well as client on ARM (see Minecraft on Android) and even can work as a server.

I'm not quite sure, how similar the server function in the clients is to the dedicated server. But if there is a certain amount of similarity, I think it would be not that much work to make the dedicated server run on ARM too.

Just my two cents - DaScream
