I have the same issue. Minecart on rail, not moving. "Ride". Press "forward", still not moving.

Cart moving slowly, "ride", cart comes to a stop. "Forward" button does nothing.

Minecart moving, approaching powered rail or downward slope, "ride", minecart moves along nicely.

I think it's the button.

I have had this happen in mcpe v1.2.9 on Android 7.0, Samsung Galaxy tab S2
It also happened in the prior release
Both times, the bed was white, in the same location in a house I built. I can stand on it, but I can't touch it. Breaking it did not return it to my inventory.

I have also observed this, Android 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
(google play store, if that matters)
MCPE V1.2.9.1
Doing the usual long-press, the green bar grows, but no matter what point you release at, only 1 item moves (I think the occasional move of 2 items is actually the program detecting a phantom second tap). This occurs moving items to and from inventory to chests, hoppers, input slots on furnaces, possibly other (all?) container inventory slots.
Makes building in Survival mode annoying, and having to single tap for each item allows hostile mobs opportunity to attack while you are getting a stack of arrows out of a chest. I didn't die, but it was a close thing.
