Just tested this bug on the new version 1.9 for Windows 10 Bedrock, and it is still here. I'm starting to worry that the Oculus version of the game is so niche that it's being neglected; I sincerely hope that this gets looked in to soon. 😞

@Klemens To my knowledge, there is no work around save for wiggling your mouse every time you levitate. Just experienced the bug again as of the 1.8.1 hotfix patch. Still not fixed, unfortunately.

It feels like this has always been an issue with this version of Bedrock, for some reason. I sincerely hope that Mojang can take the time to fix this eventually.

In the meantime, I have found an unconventional "fix" somewhere online in case the author or anyone else comes across this: after starting Minecraft VR exit the Oculus desktop app and put the headset back on. This will make the Oculus app restart, and the headset can now be taken on and off with no averse effects on Minecraft. I hope this helps!

I just found something else to add to this. After flying around in creative mode, double-jumping to fall back down does nothing and I am left floating in mid-air. This happens regardless of whether or not I have been in a body of water or if I have pressed the sprint key. Maybe this might have something to do with the same "levitation" bug? I hope this issue is looked at soon!

EDIT: I've also narrowed all of the above problems to the Oculus Touch controllers. If I use a regular mouse and keyboard to play in VR, none of the levitation problems manifest at all. Even the act of making the mouse active in the game stops any levitation problem that's already happening, and I drop down normally. This explains why I am able to play in the "flat" mode with no problems, too.

I hope so too @Bill Hung, and hopefully there is a Quest version in the works.

I did some more messing-around with this bug tonight, and it looks like the levitation only happens after you sprint in the water for any duration of time. If you only wade through water normally you can get out fine. My best guess is that something about the sprinting/swimming animation seems to really mess the player collision up when moving out of the water. I hope this helps!

Just made an account to post about this issue! Started experiencing it tonight after the update, and reinstalling both the Oculus Store download and the Windows 10 app didn't solve the issue. I suspect that this bug has something to do with the way that you auto-jump out of water in this version; if you swim towards the edge of land with any momentum, you start to fly away. Exiting and reloading the world will make you either drop to the ground, or teleport directly to it. That's been the only inconsistent part of this.

Oddly, this doesn't seem to effect the regular "flat" version of the game; reloading the same world, swimming to land works just fine. Turning off "VR jumping" has no effect, either. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!
