Also if you load it straight from the store or Xbox live it won't work, it takes you back to the previous screen, there is no cure for the bug (so far as I know)

This has happened for at least two months, it still happens on the latest update. This is a very big problem among many people, steps to reproduce, 1 get a normal Windows 10 phone, 2 download Minecraft from of the store, 3 try to play game, there will be a good chance it doesn't work, if you get the game to load after a crash it will say something like "a crash was detected, global resources reset.
