I'm sorry, I do search but I just can't seem to do it right, I don't find anything relevant until after I post.

So it is!
My search wasn't thorough enough.
Is there any way I can close it myself?
Neither cats nor ocelots are inhibiting spawns in 1.15.2
No, I'm commenting on this issue, C_moneySmith pointed out that the issue affects a lot more than water buckets and I'm pointing out that the issue only occurs within 5 blocks of the redstone ore. (Water buckets can't be placed from more than 5 blocks away but water can be picked up even if the redstone is more than 5 blocks away as long as the water is closer.)
I can shoot a block of redstone ore or eat while looking at it if I am outside melee range, 5 blocks.
Tested in 1.15.1

I guess that's only to be expected, since the redstone ore can't be interacted with from more than 5 blocks away it won't interfere with the right click action.
Large oaks and balloon oaks are also able to grow beneath a roof.
And dark oaks.
The saplings in question also won't grow in the Nether unless a hole is knocked through the ceiling straight above them.
Can confirm the skyview issue (sub issue?), a single block at build limit will stop a sapling underneath it at sea level from growing.
I agree, even a sapling on the surface will not grow with a single solid block placed above it at build limit. (Even when bonemealed for a full minute.)
Mine don't despawn until after 40 minutes, 20 minutes to grow up and then I have 20 minutes to tame them which stops them despawning, 1.14.4
Still exists in 1.14.4 and applies to beach buffet worlds as well.
I'm not getting anything with /locate and I can't even throw an Eye of Ender, nothing happens and the EoE remains in my inventory.
Also persists in 1.14.4
Not that I was expecting any difference but taking the horse to a new (already used) portal that connects to a new portal in the Nether doesn't help.
@Juev That may indeed be the cause of the problem but the problem persists after I have used the portal, newly spawned mobs go through but the ones that were pushed into the portal before there was one at the other end still won't port, even after wandering away for long enough for the cooldown timer to expire and then wandering back into the portal.
I initially pushed the original horse into the portal but later it was wandering around freely going in and out of the portal without porting even when the cooldown timer reached 0 before it went back in.
Could be, I have a Drowned on another world that has been standing in a portal for quite a while now without porting.
(Making a backup in case the data contains anything useful (though I haven't found any way to copy and paste it yet.))

This may well be normal behavior though, I have a water stream on one side of the portal to push mobs in, so if they port to the Nether and back and then try to leave the portal on that side they would be unable to leave until they turn around and go the other way.
But there was no water involved in the world with the horse and I observed the cooldown timer counting down to 0 before the horse wandered back into the portal and still didn't port.
The "Enchanted Book"s seem to act normally in every way I've tested except that they don't stack with normal books.
They can be enchanted, used for crafting bookcases, enchanting tables and book and quills and they stack with each other.
Unless this has changed since 1.13 I don't think non farmers can do anything with wheat?
Try giving them bread instead. (Or potatoes/carrots.)
Even if you move WAY out of normal earshot, hundreds of blocks, it just keeps going until the world is closed and reopened. Pausing the game just pauses the sound.
It seems to work fine in 1.14 pre-release 5
Thank you!
@Atlas, do you have a full complement of bookcases, is the enchant you can get a full 30 level enchantment?
Have you actually enchanted something? Either a fishing rod or something else, to see if things change?
I believe that fishing rods have fewer possible enchants, so it's possible to only get 1 or 2 enchants, particularly if there aren't a lot of bookcases so therefore not many possible enchantment levels.
This doesn't quite sound like the same problem and the original problem should be fixed.
So if you can verify that it is a real problem you should open a new ticket since this one seems closed.
