I did some testing and noticed:

  • Glass (at head level) doesn't prevent mobs from spawning, but solid blocks do

  • Enderman can spawn at 1 or 2 blocks gap

I think it's worth noting that the lightning does not go through the ceiling (it does hits the block with sky access), and what's happening is that the lightning splash effect can reach below the targeted block (within 3 blocks under where the lightning bolt hits). If that's supposed to happen then there is nothing wrong.

To do the test yourself, just simply use the following commands:

Hits the player: /summon lightning_bolt ~ ~+4 ~
Doesn't hit the player: /summon lightning_bolt ~ ~+5 ~

Just got the achievement on beta, so it's fixed on v.1.2.3 (Build 1).

The use command (sleeping in bed, open/close doors etc.) seems to be fixed, but placing blocks are still bugged. Placing blocks while moving is like double right clicking. Maybe inserting a delay between the first and second block placement (of the same click) would fix this.

Seems to be fixed on 1.2.0.22.

Happening on v1.2.0.18 too.

The bug is that every new zoom level 4 maps is always a map centered on x=0 and z=0 in overworld even if it's a map from nether or end.

Happened to me yesterday. Went to sleep ingame, waited for a couple of seconds, clicked Save and Quit and the game crashed. At the moment I was worried about my save so I opened the game again, then the world, saw that the game had saved my progress, clicked Save and Quit and crashed again.
Just to be sure I repeated and the game crashed again, so I tried to disable all my texture packs (Show coordinates, Plain Wool, Clear Glass and Neutral Endrods) and check again. Seemed to me that doing this solved my problem so I re-enabled all those texture packs and the game haven't crashed so far.

To exit the boat, press space bar (jump).
