Original Description:
When I use the mouse to place blocks or use items, I experience what I see as an input bounce. This input bounce is not experienced outside of Minecraft. I tried several mouse with the same results. I have only experienced this phenomena since upgrading to the 1.2.1 version of Minecraft. When I try to open gates they often times open and close so fast and so many times that I am unable to pass through the gate.

I'm getting this too and so are many others. Only started in 1.2.1. Almost unplayable and very noticeable.
Seems to be the "place block/use" command that is glitching. In addition to the rapid doors, when moving and placing blocks at the same time the blocks get placed at an uncontrollably fast rate. This makes the game very difficult to play.
I'm experiencing this as well. Only started in the 1.2.1 update. Noticed it right away.
I am having this problem on the Xbox One version as well.
I can confirm that the block placement bug still exists for both Xbox and Windows 10, as of the latest 1.2.2 update.
I agree that it is incredibly annoying and almost unplayable. I would love to see it fixed.
This is NOT resolved in 1.2.2.3.
Block placement is still messed up.
It is playable but the issue should not be in resolved status.
to duplicate jump and try to place one block; you can't. try to place one block while being pushed by flowing water; you can't.
The interaction (door/gate) portion is resolved however.
Agree - this is NOT resolved. There are a bunch of comments here since 1.2.2.3 stating as much - why was it marked resolved?
The change log for 1.2.5 build 1, which is a beta build that is only on Android at the moment for some reason, lists this as fixed, but it has erroneously been marked as resolved in 1.2.2.3.
As this issue had different aspects that were fixed separately, the ticket relating to block placement speed is MCPE-26819.
Updated title and description.
