I can confirm that this also happens with minecart rails... however, to be completely frank the ability to have minecart rail separate from other blocks should have been in the game to begin with, it opens up some really cool design options. Please don't change rails as a side effect of fixing vines. 🙂
I am also of the mind that this makes the game unplayable on survival, outside of the simplest tasks. Mobs will follow you through doors you're trying to close, you have to continually pick up the dozen torches you placed trying to light a place, even placing cobblestone while building will spam if you're moving... this needs to be hotfixed ASAP!

This makes the game unplayable. I had big plans for my new world too.
I don't know why this was marked as a duplicate of that report, because this is about spawn rate and an invisible fireball glitch, neither of which are mentioned in that report. Did the mod just see the words attack radius and close this without reading it?
I see Blazes hit eachother all the time since they spawn in groups now, but they definitely don't take any damage so you must be mistaken on that point. Also, aggroing through walls is intended behavior if you read the 1.8 AI changes on the wiki, so that's not an issue. Regardless, your comment has nothing to do with this bug report.
1.8, my wolf will not teleport to me in a desert biome.
Similar issue. Not sure if helpful but I also included a screenshot of the chunk from 18w16a. It's the edge of an ice spike biome.
