My sugar cane growns it's just painfully slow. 1.2.1 should have doubled the grow rate of all crops.
You can also grow it real fast if you use bonemeal.
I'm having the same issue on my wife's XBox Live account trying to join my realm.
I have a Gold Subscription under my XBox Account which should allow any player signed in access to XBox Gold. My XBox is setup as my home XBox.
The weird thing is, if I sign into her XBox One Live account from my Windows 10 PC I can play in my realm with no issues.
It seems to be only a problem from the XBox One. I can also play in my realm from the XBox under my account.
After reading the OP again I realized we are having the exact opposite issue. I own Gold and I bought Minecraft under my account.
What I'm wondering is if my wife's account also needs a separate Minecraft license?
Interestingly enough, 1 out of 10 times she tries she is able to see and access the realm. It seems hit or miss but misses about 90% of the times she tries.
This issue was introduced in 1.2.1. Now when right clicking doors or placing blocks it triggers so fast that it double or triple open a door and accidentally place blocks half the time.
Please add a half second or so cool down after a right click or create a mouse click sensitivity setting.
It is super convenient to hold rick click and place blocks automatically while strafing or moving backwards but the polling is way too fast.
I just started having this problem yesterday. I have an XBOX LIVE GOLD account on my XBOX ONE and I created a Realm using this account. My wife was able to join the Realm from the XBOX ONE using her profile for a few days after I created it. I always play on the Realm from the Windows 10 Edition and she was able to join the realm from the XBOX ONE.
For some reason now she gets the message "Unable to connect to realms, we will try again shortly" from the login screen in Minecraft. If I change profiles to mine on the XBOX ONE I can see the realm and join it with no issues. If I login to her account from WIndows 10 I can also see the Realm and join it with no issues. The problem is only with the XBOX ONE profile.
I had this problem when I first tried. The error message was essentially that the versions were out of sync. Now that the XBox One has updated to 1.2.0.29 my PC connects to it just fine (even after it updated to 1.2.0.31 and the XBox is still on 29).
What error message are you getting?
I just experienced the FPS bug tonight. While playing on a LAN game (hosted by Windows 10 Edition), after playing for about an hour the FPS dropped to 5 and was completely unplayable. Had to reboot the XBox for it work again. Memory showed at 1,200 or so.
I updated the other bug report as well but figured I would post this as well here.
Since we've been having so many sync issues with the XBox One I decided to start a new world in the Windows 10 Edition (Beta). With Windows 10 hosting the server we have not lost progress yet and world changes seem to save properly. However the XBox One user profile sometimes gets out of sync intermittently. Sometimes when joining the LAN game from the XBox One the user will start in a different location with no items. The next time we play and join the user will be started where she left off previously with all of her items she had before but without the items she last had. Yet again the next time we play she'll start with the items we had thought we lost the last time we played. It's like her XBox Live account is associated with multiple Minecraft user sessions and which session is chosen when starting is random.
This is happening to me as well however it only seems to happen if the XBox One is serving the world. It just so happens that the world was converted but I'm not sure that that matters. When the XBox One is serving, sometimes our progress (several hours) will get lost even though we see the saving icon throughout our play session.
This is not the case when running serving a world from the Windows 10 Beta version. To test a different scenario, I started a new world on the Windows 10 Edition (beta). In this world I do not have issues with progress being lost however we are experiencing issues with the XBox One player profiles getting out of sync.
For example, I start the server on Windows 10 then my wife will join on the XBox One under her XBox Live account. Sometimes when she logs out and back in she will be in a different spot in the world with either no inventory or inventory from a last session. Yet still, sometimes she'll login and it starts right back up where she left off. I'm wondering why the same XBox Live user is getting what seems to be two different Minecraft accounts (or states)? I read somewhere that a Minecraft profile and game state is stored as a file with a UUID/GUID. This UUID is supposed to follow the XBox Live account meaning I should never get assigned a new one for the same world. Why is this happening? It's not like the user data is being corrupted because sometimes when she logs in it will revert to the one we had thought we lost.
We just started getting this problem with the last patch on XBOX ONE Edition.
We spawned in a village and it's super laggy. At first I thought it might be related to iron golems because my son likes to create them and with more than one the game slows down to be unplayable. If he kills all the iron golems he can at least move again.
