It was marked resolved because it is a duplicate of MCPE-17818. That one is open and is the active bug for this issue.

Also confirmed with Win10 edition, version 0.16.0. I tried to rename a map and the client crashed and my map was lost.

Also ran into this issue, using Win10 connecting to a realm. I can place maps in existing item frames, but placing a new item frame on the wall crashed the realm.

Just wanted to add this info. My husband was playing on his iPad, connected to our Realm. He was the only player online. He had a diamond sword in his first inventory slot, but not anywhere in his hotbar. He had wheat in his first hotbar slot. He fed an animal, and his sword was replaced by wheat. So, the item doesn't have to be in the hotbar to be affected by this bug.

On win10, my available enchants did change after enchanting a book. They also change each time I enter the world.

It's odd - i'd expect this to all be controlled server-side and not to behave differently on different clients. Seems that the enchant seed is calculated client-side and that there is a bug on the iOS & android versions where that calculation always comes out the same for a given player.

I can confirm that if I log into my realm from my windows 10 machine, I am offered different enchants. Upon enchanting an item, the enchants offered then change as they should!
HOWEVER, when I go back to my iPad, I am again offered the ORIGINAL enchants.

Aha - here it is. Confirmation of realm import/export from Minecon.

Can't find the original page I read, but the official Addons FAQ page implies it:

How do I use Add-Ons on Realms?

To use Add-Ons on Realms, follow these steps:

  1. Open Minecraft and click “Play”

  2. Apply an Add-On to a world (for instructions on how to do this, see “How do I use Add-Ons?”)

  3. Go to the “Realms” tab and select the “edit world” icon to the right of the world name.

  4. Click “Replace World,” and chose the world to which you’ve just applied the Add-On.

I will have to try with Windows 10 tonight... hmm

I read that with 0.16.0 we will be able to backup/upload realms. Supposedly to use addons you need to download your world, apply the addon, then upload it back to the realm? I wonder if loading the world locally would change the enchant seeds? Or, if some enterprising individual could figure out how to modify the save file to edit the seeds...
