Confirmed 19w41a.
This is my exact method of reproducing the bug:
Create the same clock as is displayed in the pictures above.[*]
Power a sticky piston and place any moveable block on-top of it.
When the sticky piston is unpowered, place a scaffolding block. (Although, highly suggest placing more as it increases the number of ticks before all the scaffolding blocks are broken.)
Upon the sticky piston powering, quickly place another scaffolding block. (It may be easier to just spam-click instead of attempting to time it correctly.)
You will now have a flying scaffolding block.
You are able to stack the scaffolding blocks very high up if you repeat the aforementioned steps multiple times. The properties of the scaffolding blocks are a bit odd. You see they don't actually exist. If you re-log they will completely disappear, yet you can still interact with them as if they were normal blocks. However, if you right-click the floating blocks they will disappear.
Note: This is also confirmed working with a normal piston.
[*] Can be reproduced with any other form of redstone signal, using a clock simply makes it easier.
PS. This seems to be a duplicate of/relates to MC-148795
Confirmed for 19w41a.
Hi,
Feeback on this issue about the corrupted worlds that happened in 1.2.14.3. When Aquatic update (v1.4) was released now all my worlds that was corrupted is not corrupted anymore. This time around I have also done some backups of all my worlds. 🙂
The only thing that is wrong with the earlier corrupted worlds is that the animals I had within fences is not there. This is a minor issue since I can gather them again.
So in short this issue is resolved for my part. I have my worlds back.
Thanks. 🙂
Hi Mega_Spud,
The corruption happened with two worlds for me. Both where opened in v1.2.14.3 (beta). I have a few other worlds I have checked now and they are not corrupted (old stuff).
It is important to know that the pop-up in game was not visible the first 1-2 days after the game was updated. So there is a gap here where your instructions did not reach us fast enough and the rollback was possible. Probably the most eager gamers.
But the main question is now. Do you have versioned cloud synced saves? Is it reversible? (i.e the tip about contacting Mojang Customer Support above)
I agree with Gerald on this.
And if Mojang do not have versioned saves of the game in the cloud is crazy. Especially when releasing a version of the game that makes the worlds corrupt is even possible.
Making a backup of the saves in this scenario was not possible since the auto update feature on Xbox One. People did not see the update happen before starting the game and saw the beta-info in the top of the screen in-game... and worlds was already modified. The corruption was not apparent before people downgraded as you instructed in the game pop-up.
I'm not interested in a blame-game on this but Mojang and/or Microsoft need to come up with a statement and a resolution to this.
By the way.. Beside having my worlds corrupted, I have a bunch of friends with kids that have cried for days now cause of this. So the dark numbers on this issue...
You are probably in the same situation as multiple others (including me). :/

As Gerald said I do not mind to be reverted to the world state at 2018-04-02.
MCPE-32135 can also be linked to this one since it's the same result of world corruption.
This is the same bug as I reported (linked to this one by Bemoty). This was a forced update for no-beta XB1 gamers done by Mojang and/or Microsoft as an error.
Can confirm i have the same issue with one of my maps. Same forced / accidental update to beta by MS/Mojang.
I can confirm this is still an issue on 19w41a.
