Downgrading to Windows 10 Version 1803 Build 17314.112 fixed the mouse issue in 1.12.2, it appears that something changed between this version and the latest build (1909) that broke mouse support despite it working previously

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've gone into the versions folder, made a new folder called 1.13.2_rdpfix and then inside that put the 1.13.2_rdpfix.json file in there, then in the Minecraft launcher added it as a new installation, and then when I go to start it, it downloads all the files then I get "Exited with error code -1" and no more info.

I tried again with 18w21b-glfwtest and got this error

17:37:17.685 Minecraft client 18w21b-glfwtest is ready to start.

not sure why snapshot exits with crash info and exit code 1 while the 1.13.2 one displays no crash info and exits with -1, but regardless neither work

Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Build 18363.476 over RDP with Intel HD Graphics, graphics acceleration isn't the issue as that's working just fine and regular 1.13.2 and 1.12.2 launch just fine, just with the mouse issue.

This is not the only command I used I tried changing the facing and item nbt's but got rid of them just in case I was formatting it incorrectly.

Still an issue as of 1.8.6 ugh I hope they fix this soon

It's not a dupe, in Minecraft 1.8.1-pre1, 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 it works, but in 1.8.4 and 1.8.5 it dosen't, wtf and I came across that post while searching and saw that too

Confirmed running at the Default, out of the box Mojang set minecraft settings, on Minecraft 1.8, 1.8.1, 1.8.2, 1.8.3, 1.8.4, 1.8.5

Still an issue, we have to go to .minecraft\server-resource-packs to see the server resource packs

Affected versions: 1.8.5

Temporary solution is to continue using Minecraft 1.8 to play on 1.8.x servers

yeah I can confirm that this is still an issue in minecraft 1.8.4

Ah, ok I'll do that. I just assumed it was running a compatible version

This issue exists in a way more severe form in 15w14a, not that 15w14a matters, just goes to show that if this isn't fixed it will only get worse as new stuff is added

awesome! anyway I reverted back to 1.8.0 (the most stable for me) and my preformance and everything else is bliss, it's like a night and day comparison, no lag, no bugs, etc. Hopefully that snapshot gets written off and forgotten about. I would hate to see the next version of mc have all those bugs that the snapshot has.

Anyway i'm back on 1.8 and 1.8 is 10000 times better! it's not without a couple quirks too which already exist in open issues but i'm thankful to find this out

And yes 1.8.3 is also an affected version

I can confirm this

This video basically explains it all, for some odd reason in minecraft 1.8 if you have your settings maxed out your game will refuse to finish "downloading terrain" the solution is to turn your render distance down into the normal range
Here is what the launcher says while minecraft gets stuck on "downloading terrain"
[17:10:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Scanning folders...
[17:10:51] [Server thread/INFO]: Total conversion count is 0
[17:10:52] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing start region for level 0
[17:10:53] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 7%
[17:10:54] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 16%
[17:10:55] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 28%
[17:10:56] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 41%
[17:10:57] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 56%
[17:10:58] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 68%
[17:10:59] [Server thread/INFO]: Preparing spawn area: 85%
[17:11:00] [Server thread/INFO]: Changing view distance to 32, from 10
[17:11:00] [Server thread/INFO]: coolgamerovr90[local:E:6818938d] logged in with entity id 205 at (13.5, 62.0, -86.5)
[17:11:00] [Server thread/INFO]: coolgamerovr90 joined the game
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
at this point the client screen displays "downloading terrain" and starts playing in game music
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[17:11:44] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 44074ms behind, skipping 881 tick(s)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
at this point you get let into the game and all you see is a world with nothing in it, see the first screenshot
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[17:11:55] [Client thread/INFO]: [CHAT] Saved screenshot as 2015-03-16_17.11.55.png
[17:12:13] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 29607ms behind, skipping 592 tick(s)
[17:12:16] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 2891ms behind, skipping 57 tick(s)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At this point you finally get taken into a playable world.
on slower less powerful computers the JVM itself will just crash

ALL THE SAND that falls through goes straight to the overworld

THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED, I repeat this is no longer an issue as of Minecraft 1.8.3 🙂

Yes this is still a concern in Minecraft 1.8.3

confirmed in Minecraft 1.8.3

Ugh, ok. Looks like this is another suggestion to Mojang then

I know you guys are swamped with issues right now, so that's why I held off on reporting this for as long as I did, but I would just like to bring it to attention. In the old Minecraft sound system playing a record would stop any other music that was playing if I remember correctly. This doesn't happen in any new version of Minecraft that has the new sound system implemented
