Ok my bad then, I did not know that.
Feel free to close/remove the ticket.
Thanks for the reply and confirmation.
Still happening in v1.20.15
I believe the below described contraption causes the same error.
In my example the waterlogged slab is also in a "cage" and below it is a 3x3 space.
But instead of adding a watersource on its side, I brake the dirt block adjacent to the slab and the water is flowing below it, causing the block below the waterlogged slab to become a water source.
Screenshot: Waterlogged slab in cage
Screenshot: Side view below
Screenshot: Dirt adjacent to slab removed and added again - the center block below the waterlogged slab became a water source.
and 5. Screenshot: Test with another block removed so that the flowing water doesn't reach the slab
Screenshot: Expected behaviour - Waterflow stops.
Screenshot: Adjacent slabs will also create water source below it, due how water source generation works.
Screenshot: Infinite watersource generation stops when there is no block below the slabs.
Update:
Happens also with waterlogged stairs and trapdoors.
And Turtles can also get Stuck inside Trees, when the eggs are close to it:
[media]By the way original problem still exists also on PC Win10 Bedrock edition: Version 1.12.0
As you can see in the screenshots I've tryed it with a second water source as well + adding the slabs at the lower part of the block.
Very rarely Turtles can go out, mainly because the others are hindering them to go under. But i also had around 10-15 Turtles stuck there.
Shall i open a new ticket?
[media]Not exactly what the title says but it involves turtles and slabs.
When fencing in turtles with 1 Block and 1 Slab on top they tend to jump on the walls trying to get out.
When babyturtles grow up they tend to sticking inside the walls, suffocating in it and they can even pass through the 1 Block🙂
The player can also push them through once they are inside.
If the slabs are replaced with fence or another 1 Block it doesn't happen again.
[media]I'm having same issue too. On Windows 10 Bedrock V.1.12.0
Have mined the turtle eggs after "force breeding" from another "wilderness" spawn point with Silktouch and hatched them in my garden.
From 8 Turtles, only 1 layed an egg, the other 7 are still "pregnant", because they won't eat more seagrass.
Have waited for 2 days and 1 night, also I've destroyed some blocks to free them, but they don't travel far. (Was hoping they return to the beach from the parents where i got the eggs from.
Also traveled with the horse around 1000 blocks and back hoping something would reset. Nope still same behavior. Reloading same issue.
My World is from some previous versions though. Not sure if that has an impact.
Since 1 Turtle layed an egg, I'm failing in troubleshooting this scenario.
The screenshot is showing my farm and that the turtles really hatched here.

Sadly the video is too big to upload. So here is a link:

That's the exact steps, done now in v.1.20.15
Hold an empty map in hands and partially reveil it. (This step is optional)
Copy map in cartography table with another emtpy map.
Place both maps in one slot in inventory.
Increase the size of one map with a paper in cartography table.
Place it in inventory and lock the other map with a glasspane in the cartography table.
5b: Actually, locking the map is not even needed, in my test the higher level map gets locked as soon as the glasspane is placed in the cartography table.
6: Place locked map in hands and it will still update the map, but cannot be locked or copied in the cartography table.
