yeah using the unique sculker claws dropped by resummoning and defeating the witch of howling woods boss have the ability to grant shadow cloaking, if you enter shadow cloaking via weapon enchant at the same milisecond time frame as using an artifact you lose the ability to use the artifact untill re-equipped. Untill fixed dont use the sculker claws. the bug has something to do with the sequence in which player effects are applied, so it affects basically all artifacts that directly apply effects to you. Also supported by the fact that totems (indirect effects) seem not to be affected by this bug.

note: using enderfog artifact to enter shadow cloaking at the same instant as using another artifact does not cause this bug in my experience, as artifact slots seem to have a strict order among themselves of applying player effects.

note2: i have seen one person claim to have reproduced this lockout bug by only spamming artifacts at the same time, no weapon induced player effects, but i cant reproduce that.

(copy paste of my other comment on related issue) : Using the unique sculker claws dropped by resummoning and defeating the witch of howling woods boss have the ability to grant shadow cloaking, if you enter shadow cloaking via weapon enchant at the same milisecond time frame as using an artifact you lose the ability to use the artifact untill re-equipped. weird, in my testing (Windows 11 steam version) this bug only happens specifically when triggering a player effect via a weapon enchantment, like the sculker claws, at the near exact same time as a direct-effect artifact. I cant reproduce this bug like you can by triggering two direct-effect artifacts at the same time, which fungus/bangles are you specifically using?

I'd like to add to this that in my testing (pc steam version) this happens not after a few times of using any direct effect-artifact, but specifically when you enter shadow cloaking via a weapon enchantment (so not via the enderfog artifact) and use a direct-effect artifact in the same milisecond timeframe. This causes your artifacts to bug out and not be useable untill you re-equip them, which is very frustrating mid-combat. Especially because the only times you would encounter this bug is in a very enemy heavy scene, such as a boss battle, where the user is spamming their artifacts and attacks at the same time. From what ive seen, most people who encounter this bug are indeed using the unique sculker claws dropped by re-summoning and defeating the witch of Howling woods boss, as their unique ability is to enter shadow cloaking when attacking an enemy. Untill resolved its best not to use the unique sculker claws at all as this bug affects ALL direct-effect artifacts (indirect-effect artifacts like totems are not affected)

Im not sure if this is the same bug, but using the unique sculker claws dropped by resummoning and defeating the witch of howling woods boss have the ability to grant shadow cloaking, if you enter shadow cloaking via weapon enchant at the same milisecond time frame as using an artifact you lose the ability to use the artifact untill re-equipped.
