#Gabriel Salla: thats not the problem. If I start a fresh new world, without ANY stair... the problem continues!
I can confirm that I have the same problem in Windows 8 AND in Ubuntu 12.10, both 64 bits. So, its not driver/SO problem... its a Minecraft code/implementation problem
Darth Revan - I have a Geforce 540 (1.5 year) with directx 11 hardware and my FPS drops from 80 to 25.
confirmed in Snapshot 13w11a
with pre 1.5, I get 22-30 FPS, and with 1.4.7 I get 60 FPS (or more, because I´m using V-Sync). Using Geforce 540, 4Gb ram (2 dedicated for minecraft/java), and 8 cores i7 processor, and windows 8 pro with java 7u17 64 bits.
To be more specific, I have an 8 core i7 with 4Gb DDR3 ram (2GB for minecraft/java) and a Geforce 540
present in pre1.5
confirmed in 1.4.5
Exactly, Its proved that newest versions of LWGJL libs improves a lot the FPS of the game, I report this to ensure that the developers use wrong the new api or implementation. So, its minecraft problem.
I don't see an issue, I see challenge. I like the actual balance.
I have the same problem in 1.4.2
the problem is the "piracy". If you allow that, you can play the game with others without cracking/buying the game
Thi is not a duplication. The other bug state that the problem begin with 8.x but it work fine with mc 8. I state that I have this problem with all Minecraft, and older versions are worst.
