sorry but there had been a misunderstanding.

the shulkers transmogged into sand didn't actually transform, someone put sand shulkers in the gunpowder box and I didn't look when I took them out

Due to Villagers not offering any Cursed books, it means that the most realistic way that you'd be guaranteed a curse book is through fishing - with an approximate 0.043% chance of fishing up either a curse of binding or vanisihing book. - ~2312 items fished up. That would mean a rough average of around 10 hours of non-stop fishing for your best chance at a Cursed Book.
