It doesn't work either. (My linked dir points to a drive that is mounted as a directory to the ntfs, but you can't select a sub-dir in that either.) Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Delete the issue please, I don't really care any more. I'll play something else.
Minecraft Windows 10, could be something with using two different computers. When switching computers it's not uncommon that the new one doesn't ask me to sign in with MS, but seemingly "gives up" to load the skin (character creator, so it's quite annoying to re-do all the time).
