Yes, this happen to me too. sometimes when I load or start to play my saved game, the game spawned me high above somewhere without any clue, then I will drop dead. It happen very fast, I cant even notice my coordinate, then I cant find my belongings where It erroneously spawn and lose all of them. Feel terribly angry... I am playing survival mode. There is no way to avoid it. terrible.. it is version 1.8.1 I am on android not IOS.
I think when I pressed home screen button, after the save screen is still saving, might have cause this. Once I load the saved world later, it happens. Might help, if only we close the apps after all saving progress is done, not before.
