Yes, i have tried using the mouse on the laptop and the stutter is there.

Im confident enough to say anyone with a mouse and is on GDK will have this bug but simply cant notice it because the game or system is already stuttery or assume a specific world or server is laggy in combination of disabled vsync making the stutter look normal.

I had done a test with my laptop (windows on arm64) running minecraft using my trackpad and the stutter persists. However, using the touch screen.. no stutter.

I had done another test on my phone which shouldnt be GDK. No stutter using the touch screen and no stutter using the mouse i plugged in.

Latest preview 26.0.25:
480fps recording slowed to 60fps

This might be a different but related bug but the game sensitivity feels slower when the game fps drops or has lag spikes. Still unplayable for server minigames. I may provide a video of the game stutter with slow motion potentially when 1.21.130 releases later today. I hope we can push for another vote to reach 20!

I'm definately sure the way minecraft on GDK captures the mouse is capped at 125hz.

Unplayable. The stutter is the worst at 90fps@90hz (vsync or not) and none at 125fps/hz. I have a 500hz monitor and the game feels as if im playing capped at 125fps. This issue is the also present for my brother’s pc.

1.21.114 is the last version without this issue.. servers eventually will drop support for these versions and this is my last hope.

This happens to me too and i got the MSI gf66. This might be to do with optimus and no mux switch Which has been an issue since 1.16…
I tried:
- Disabling fullscreen optimisations
- Turn off Vsync in the Nvidia control panel
- Turn off Vsync in the Intel control panel
- Turn off Vsyinc i nthe minecraft options.txt
- Installing windows 10 from 11
With all that its capped only when im in Fullscreen and still no screen tearing in either which means input lag.

I use an external monitor to help but it still doesnt get rid of the problem fully. I would prefer screen tearing over frame skipping.

I use RTSS to measure my FPS.

I have this issue on my laptop which has an integrated gpu and an rtx 3050 TI. However, not on my older PC which just has an nvidia rtx 2060 super. My gut is saying it is to do with the the windows compositor / DWM

Edit: Optimus laptop, Fps is unlocked with windowed not fullscreen.
