Can confirm in 1.19.4.
Please note, since it has not been said anywhere yet, that this bug only applies when the passenger of the spider is passive or unable to attack (as in the case of the pillager without a weapon). However, spiders can still attack if their passenger is aggressive (like if a skeleton or zombie is riding it).
I can confirm this still happens. I'm on 1.19.4, it's midnight, and I have a block display as a passenger to a spider. The spider looks around, but does attack me when in survival and additionally does not walk in any direction.
Confirmed for 14w32d.

I also had this issue, but with both birch leaves and tall grass. See crash reports "crash-2014-07-23_16.55.48-client" and "crash-2014-07-23_13.37.58-client" respectively. The bug has something to do with tesselations. Confirmed for 14w30b.

Confirmed for 14w30b. Here's another screenshot.
This occurs on my survival world with my spider spawner. They almost always spawn in the floor and light doesn't stop them from spawning.
Confirmed in 14w25b on my server. Very annoying! I can't search for ocean monuments because as I travel, my boat isn't actually where I am, leading to crashing into islands that I'm far away from and chunks not loading because I'm "not there yet."
They're wearing blocks on their heads, but any block worn as a "hat", including pumpkins (shown in MC-57188), is rendered HUGE and up-side-down.
Confirmed.
Definitely a serious issue, likely due to new rendering changes. Occurs in 3rd person and in inventory.
Confirmed.
I just discovered that this bug occurs regardless of whether the “crossbow_charging_sounds” effect is used in the custom enchantment. I have updated the bug report to reflect that and added a new example data pack and resource pack for convenience.
