Maybe try asking a friend with a Windows PC as all you need to do is copy a folder.
That, and they could've at least warned people. I didn't notice any indications that this was going to be a thing, either on the Fandom wiki or the Play Store.
Not exactly. This addresses the fact that the latest update doesn't accept the usual games/com.mojang location. Regardless of the manual fix it's still an issue as not everyone has access to a PC, and a manual fix is only a temporary solution. Unless the devs intended for this. Though I don't remember it being in the list of new features/modifications/fixes.

Again, mostly requires a PC, especially for devices w/ android 11+. And using a 3rd party file manager isn't all that safe and often requires root access. Some "improvement" this turned out to be.
