Confirmed on 1.7.2, Textures client side transparent. Some textures have randomized colors. Uploading Image.
Shows the invisible textures and the coloration glitch.
Confirmed on Multiplayer server 1.7.2 with 3 players.
I did search under "1.7 bed door" but thanks for pointing me to the main report.
This bug is not fixed/resolved. It is not an issue with the 3d model as one(like me) would initially think. This is a bug with cardinal directions. It only occurs on South and West facing models. And only on doors and beds.
Checked against different resource packs(default,Faithful32,PixelReality), its all the same.
Standard Launcher on Windows 7 Home Ed.

Door model is backwards only on cardinal directons. Other side of model is correct.
Beds viewed facing west.
Take note, bug is not on the same side of each model.
Same, both wood types burn by fire but not by furnace.
confirmed 1.7.4 - SSP and SMP
Too many are spawning to be the de-spawned versions of Baby Zombie riders. Its occurring in groups of 3-4.
Not just in the nether as well. You can find chickens everywhere now. Even in the overworld as low as y=6
