This happened to me as well. Once I downloaded the snapshot and tried the fireworks,they went up into the air for about 3 blocks before disappearing entirely.
Snowballs don't give any damage to players; only certain mobs like endermen or blazes are.
Okay, thanks. I did wait to see if she would spawn and it was night, but she just never spawned. I guess I wasn't patient enough, then. Thanks.
