These screenshots were taken on my Android phone which also seems to have the issue.
Yes, this really puts a crimp in our plans for making lore a cornerstone of our world.
The player who encountered the bug going from nether to overworld was using Windows 10 Edition at the time.
Nothing. No one has reported missing inventories or ender chest items since the reset. I did experience such things after the 1.5 update back in June though.
I managed to get mine working. This might work for you too. Make sure you have a current local copy of your world that is working ok. (Which you have already said you've done.) Now go into your realm's settings and choose reset world. It will ask you if you want to delete and reset your world. Choose yes. Afterwards upload your local copy of the world to replace the world on your realm. After doing this I was once again able to connect to my realm .
Agreed.
Same here. I am able to download a copy of the world but neither I nor any of my players can connect to the realm to play. I'm not sure what point there is in keeping up a realm subscription I can't use at this point .Tired of being disaaponted and my players being disappointed as well.
It is now 10 hours later and I still can not connect to my realm since trying to restore from a backup this morning .
A little update. The date of the world that always downloads whenever I try to download a current copy of the world or a recent back up is 6/7/2018. Incidentally this is the same day I updated my security email address on my Microsoft account. Is there a connection?
Still can't download a current copy of my world. Thinking about cancelling that other realms subscription. It's useless to me if I can't migrate a current version of my world there.
I, too, am experiencing this since my world upgraded to 1.4 and as of today with 1.4.1. Exploring new chunks to harvest coral and other items to bring back to my old parts I still have yet to encounter a single drowned after days of playing .
Same experiences here using Windows 10 edition. Animals clustering and both my (realm owner) and another player's domesticated animal mobs vanishing upon returning from a foray into the nether. Dogs, sheep, cows, horses, all recently interacted with. Nether portal near world spawn point.

Does not appear to be resolved in the current release.
