Although it seems more a bit more extreme this time.
And I can confirm a Villager spawned in there.
Confirmed #2 in 1.18 Release Candidate 3

Also this is an excellent seed for Weird terrain gen. Found a couple of the old bugs I reported still going strong from this seed. This was really fun to find!

I think its fair to say that this is a duplicate or really similar to MC-241757. I didn't get as much lag from the falling sand or whatever it is. And if there was none in the screenshots. There are Sea Temples Really Close to the coords given in the same seed of the world download. So its possible the bug in the world download is due to the temples bugging out with falling entities. Btw I basically boated all the way in survival to the coords given and found the temple first and almost died at it too.

You were exploring a world in survival right? I think I'll try to attempt the walk to that area in Survival using only the seed if that's the case. Might have to do with a certain amount or specific chunks needing to be loaded for the first time to get the bug rather than just a tp? Also what render distance and simulation distance did you have? Just incase that might have something to do with it too.

The world download does say farms and machines. Are there farms and/or machines on that world that could cause this type of lag in the world file? It might be the case as he went to that area one of the builds he made bugged out.

Can you hit f3 to bring up the coordinates at that location and take a screenshot ? So I can locate that area where the bugged plant is? Thanks - Jared

Is there a way I can reproduce it? It seems like a major bug if this happens in survival. Can I get the seed rather than the world download it would be faster for me if I could just get a seed. Do /seed in your world and Copy it and paste it here. You should be able to do the /seed command in survival. I could then used your Coords from your screenshots to locate that area. thanks. - Jared

Confirmed Also for spawning On savannah village paths! Not only houses!

So as a quick check in today. I made a new 343 seed world in 1.14.1. The Village is in the same place all the buildings are on the ground BUT.....

The paths are where the bridge blocks used to be though all the way on the bottom.

Did not know that the bug would last this long but nice job so far!

It seems its still an Issue with my 3 digit seeds and as Ivan said it may be City Dependent. I created a new world for the 343 seed in version 19w41b and the same village at spawn is almost exactly the same as it was when I screenshotted that the first time in 18w50a.

@Tedstar The Floating over the lakes is already a bug This Bug Report when I first posted this was "Solved" Because it was a duplicate. However, I corrected this report by saying that this was not just that, but It Spawned over caves and ravines as well. I recently just found another village over a ravine. Although that might be its own thing, villages are spawning over ravines because it's Technically not regular cave gen or surface cave gen. Also, in my first version and seed of this bug, all of the villages were fixed after the third version.

TIP Trying using a three-digit Seed. It seems that the villages are prone to break more on those.

Hey. So if This is an old bug that hasn't been patched since 1.9. Why are they making the New Village buildings as if it were already patched?

Most of my plain villages have changed for 18w50a I am currently revisiting them in the latest snapshot. I found a few new bugs with terrain gen as well. Also, paths still can generate over air cave space; it's on a different seed though.

Hopefully, the problem gets fixed soon because I think the Village Structures (Path blocks, pens, Hay bales, light posts, and trees in some cases) can overlap at any time if it does end of happening. Thanks I'll keep you posted - Jared

I have been getting the same lag in my singleplayer 404 seed world. It makes looking for the new villages really tedious. I have to keep doing the F3+a trick every 10 seconds just to load in more of it.
I'm using12 chunks render distance, Fast graphics, smooth lighting turned off, biome blurring off, particles set to decreased and some other video settings set to a low-ish range. Hope this helps out with the server and single player client bugs. Good luck!

I have 2 buildings including that one above. That have grass floors in what I call Inn's
