MC-189907 Mobs Spawning Ignoring Light Level Invalid

Version 1.16.5

I have hundreds of hundreds of enderman that will not despawn around my main nether portal because they picked up mushrooms. Hundreds!!!
This has happened multiple times and I endup having to open the game up to Lan so I can enable cheats and run the command to kill enderman.

This however is only a temporary fix because If I sit near the portal for about half an hour there are hundreds of them carrying items again not counting against the mob cap. This is absurd. Please fix it.

I also have villagers attempting to claim workstations that are not the closest, and that they shouldn't even be able to path find to.

Villagers also can claim a work station at any time of day for me, with no beds anywhere near at all.
1.16.1

Happens frequently in 1.15.2 when flying around with elytra and rockets. You can make it happen quicker by maxing out the view distance.

This also happens on occasion in 1.15.2

Sounds similar to my issue that got closed, before anyone asked any questions.

What a convenient way to disregard a bug.

However this does happen in vanilla, it has been happening for awhile, and my version has only been modded for a few days. I have witnessed the bug for over a month.
One of the main reasons that I even have a modded version was so I could see when/where they are spawning in the first place to try to confirm this issue and that they are not walking from over 128 blocks away (which lets be honest is impossible) to get to where i am stumbling across them.

I wouldn't of needed to mod It to try to track it down if proper tools where provided in the client itself.

This has been an issue for awhile.

The provided explanation is just that, an explanation of the bug.
If that means the path-finding code is bad, and needs to be fixed, then such is the case.  Having all your animal group up on the walls of an enclosure should not be "normal" behavior. Otherwise why make a pen anything but 1 block wide just so you can heard a bunch of creatures in it.

Version 1.15.2

This still happens.
Yes i view it as a bug. Breaking ice without silk touch is supposed to cause a water block, not vanish.

This has happened to me a few times in the past couple days. I have a closed loop rail system, there is no where for the carts to wander off to, they jsut go in circles. They are not stopped on the system anywhere, they are just gone.

In this case they are specifically chest minecarts.

Version 1.15.2

I have this error happening A-LOT around my base. No clue why till i read this because I get it during the day, in a mob spawn free area (slabbed and lighted up well past 128 blocks radius). Now I am fairly certain I can pinpoint it.

Boats! I have several boats around my base just chilling in the water. I also like to breed turtles. The stupid turtles end up finding the boats, and getting in them. This also happens with foxes randomly as well deciding to go swimming and getting in the boats. Only passengers in entities I have anywhere around. It appears that if you get the right distance away in the right time frame it causes this. If you are moving to fast, or dont go far enough away from the boats, it doesnt happen.

This ticket need to be re-opened. It is easily reproduceable.

You need to have multiple meeting bells, and a fair amount of villagers with beds spaced out around the village.

The problem seems to occur when multiple villagers breed at the same time, or maybe produce multiple offspring at once. It seems like what happens is that baby villagers are produced to accommodate for the "empty" beds, except the beds are not always empty. The villager it belong to can be at another farther away meeting bell.

In some case, what can happen is that you are close enough to one bell that the villagers are loaded, but far enough from the other that they are not. In others it just seems like they are just to far away for them to be detected / counted in the who is using a bed.

When i do a breeding session in my village I typically have to wait for night to fall and then run around looking for villagers not in beds, and then lay down some more beds.

Another oddity, but not entirely related is that sometimes there are still viable beds in the village, but these villagers refuse to go use them instead of their previous bed and instead revert to a "stuck" state described in link MC-156037

I have this happen as well. Version 1.15.2

Villagers seem to forget where their bed and or workstations are and just aimlessly wander around the village constantly.

What seems to be a valid fix is to ring the meeting bells near the villagers during the day (at night does not have the same outcome).
This triggers the villagers to kinda of run around and panic, and when that is over, the problem villagers typically relocate their bed and workstations and begin to do stuff again.

This is one of MANY problems with villagers.
