I will test today after work.

I seem to have a problem that I think is related to this. I have set up camp on an island (seed 3556498), and built a mob spawner 22+ blocks high. Nothing seems to spawn inside. However, on at least one occasion, I switched to creative mode and found a group of creepers on top of the structure. I've since built more levels on top, and I still can't get mobs to spawn. Mobs will sometimes spawn inside my dense tree farm.

I created this world after I joined the beta for 0.14.0. So, I can confirm it exists up to at least 0.14.0b4. I'm on a Nexus 6 with Android 6.0.1 February update.

I would like to confirm that this happened to me up to 0.14.0b3. On 0.13.0, I was able to break up to 6 blocks straight ahead of me in survival. During the betas, it goes down to only 5 blocks most of the time, with a random 6th block every once in a while.

I noticed this because I used to place a torch every 6th block since that's how far I could mine without moving, but it was then reduced to 5.

Edit: This is on Android Nexus 6

I also request that this be reopened

Okay, so the issue exists on my son's Nabi 20" BigTab with the Nyko controller. He's also running 0.14.1b2

I recently purchased an ipega Bluetooth controller and found that it operates as expected in 0.13.1 as well as 0.14.1b2. However the Nyko Playpad Pro still has issues. For example, attempting to navigate the new creative menus with the left stick moves the selector for a few items, but then switches tabs.

I will see if this problem also applies to other devices.

I think this issue should be separate from MCPE-12653, and what Jeffrey You is referring to. This issue is in fact solved in 0.14.0 Beta 1. As stated in the description, the issue is when opening up the menu, not exiting the world.

MCPE-12653 is concerned with exiting the game, and I don't think crouch status is necessarily an important state to keep track of. Just my 2 cents.

Now that it's fixed, can we have a separate invert y-axis setting for touch and controllers? I actually play with controllers and y-inverted, but when on touch, not so much.

What does that mean? Does that mean we won't have to worry about losing inventory in the future?

Bug is present in the final release of 0.12.1 on Android.

I will record a video of this soon.
