I'm sorta stuck until this is fixed. I'm kicked out immediately.
I haven't had the problem since I renamed the directory.
There was another player on a 1.7 server that had the same issue, and this fix resolved it, but I don't know what exact version he was running.
I put my solution here to help people that searched for "no sound". I don't know if it's helped anyone else or not.
I'm getting this connecting to my own server, which is plugged into the same network switch as my desktop box.
I get it on both the 13w41a and 13w41b snapshots.
I'm having the same issue. I can make a pick, which will mine 1 block, but afterward will not mine anything else. If I make a new pick, that will also mine one block, but nothing afterward. Interestingly, if I combine the two non-functional picks to make a new pick, that will not work either.
